*WARNING* Keep a close eye on burning candles & make sure they're on a high - temperature, level surface. The flames should be able to be seen. Keep flammable materials at a safe distance. Children and dogs should be kept at a safe distance. For maximum results, trim the wick to 1/4 inch each time you use it. Leave the fire unattended for no longer than 4 hours at a time. Draughts should be avoided at all costs. Stop using it when only 1/2 inch of wax remains.
*When using glass containers, pure soy candles may develop frost or discoloration in the wax, resulting in a frosted appearance on the candle. It occurs more frequently and is more obvious in darker-colored candles, although it can occur in any pure soy candle. The capacity of the candle to burn will not be harmed by frosting or other cosmetic faults.
**Burn your candle for 1-2 hours, or until the entire top has melted, while lighting it for the first time. The first burn is the most important since it ensures that your candle burns properly & that you get the most out of the scent. Allow the candle to burn until it has turned into a pool of liquid wax all the way to the top. For each inch of Jar diameter, it takes roughly an hour. This will keep your candle from "tunnelling" if you do it this way.
PLEASE NOTE: Because my candles are handcrafted, each batch may differ somewhat from the previous. Colors may differ from those shown in the image.
